What we collect and why

When you confirm your place on the waitlist we keep your email address, the sports you picked and the time you confirmed, so we can tell you about SaddleWatch's testing and launch. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by pressing "Confirm you're in". If you never confirm, we don't add you to the list; our email provider keeps a short delivery log of that one message and then deletes it.

Who handles it

Cloudflare hosts the site and runs the bot check. Resend sends our emails and stores the waitlist, in its EU region.

How long we keep it

We delete your details 24 months after you confirm, or at our monthly clean-up after you unsubscribe, whichever comes first; if we close the waitlist sooner, we delete everything then. To stop repeated confirmation emails, a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your address is kept for 15 minutes after you sign up, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted by emailing [email protected]. Every update email has an unsubscribe link. The one-off confirmation email doesn't need one: if you ignore it, you're never added to the list. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and statistics

We use no cookies and no tracking pixels; email opens and clicks are not tracked. Cloudflare Web Analytics loads a small script that counts page views and measures load times without cookies. Cloudflare says it does not collect or use visitors' personal data, and it keeps detailed data for seven days and aggregated totals after that.
